How EPS Densifier Works
Hasswell newly developed medium size EPS densifier with the principle of auger densification. The operator of the machine throws the used EPS foam waste into the hopper. The knives inside the machine will crush the EPS foam waste into smaller flakes. The flakes will be compressed into the compression chamber and be compressed. There is a pressure adjustment mechanism at the the out-feed section that can adjust the volume reduction ratio. The process is cold compression. No heating is required so it is very energy efficient and no bad smelt.
This EPS densifier is used to reduce the volume of EPS foam so that the waste EPS foam can be transported to a recycler more efficiently.
